Some of the Evergreens members started off the New Year with a vengeance, and were busy each day apart from one day when it rained.  Hats off, and thank you to them.

To try and get rainfall water to soak away more easily more trenches were dug, gripping pipe put in them, then stone was filled in around and over the pipe.

At the North end of the field a section of track bed for what will be the outer perimeter circuit for the 7 1/4" gauge had membrane and stone put in place.

The North side hedge was trimmed back, and quite a length of hedge to deal with.

Trees to the North-West had a good trim too of their low hanging branches.

All the hedge and tree trimming created a big heap to be tidied and dispersed of.
