Progress continues with the level-crossing.

Four holes have been bored into the ground for concrete piles, this to help ensure the crossing base does not move out of alignment if soil shrinkage occurs during the dry summer months.

The second photograph shows the concrete shuttering is in position under the rails, a water channel to link the track bed is being installed, steel supports are being driven into the base to fix the track into the desired position and you can also see concrete reinforcement mesh.

The woodchip is being replaced with stone.

For the first time this year the weather has allowed for the cutting of the grass.
